"Shall We Dance" is a totally exciting first-of-its kind entertainment program on Philippine TV that pairs a celebrity with a professional dance partner or DI (Dance Instructor) as they train and then compete in front of a studio audience in a televised dance competition. The pairs will be judged by a panel of dance experts and also by the studio audience, with one couple being eliminated each week. Definitely a must-see celebrity power dance showdown with a reality twist!

The formidable panel of judges consists of: Edna Ledesma, Grand Prize winner in the Latin Dance Senior Category, Blackpool, England; stage director/actor Audie Gemora; and fashion designer/tv host & a certified Dance Sport Champion Regine Tolentino. At the end of each performance, judges will give each couple a score. At the end of the broadcast, the studio audience votes will be added to the judges’ ratings to make a possible total score of 40. At the conclusion of every episode, except for the first week of every month, one couple will be eliminated.

The first pairs vying to become the first monthly finalists for Season II are: Wowee de Guzman, an actor and a former lead dancer or prodigal son of the Universal Motion Dancers for Universal Records, with dance partner Donna Bidua; William Martinez, a comedian actor/former bagets/teen idol, with dance partner Genevieve Camacho; Assunta de Rossi, a controversial sexy actress, with dance partner Crixon Pangindian; and Mystica, The Sensational Rock Diva of the Philippines and The Split Queen, with dance partner Miguel de la Serna.
